Some Notes

Rob Matthews

If Drawings Were Photographs from Rob Matthews. Illustrations by Tom Edwards. The dog one is my favorite.

I admit I find this last one to be slightly confusing.

Roberts Birze

As I was putting together my portfolio for experimental, I came across one of the images that I initially found when I was doing research. I really love this image, all of the layers, both in focus and branches. While looking for other images of his, I came across this quote from Birze
"My photography may not be good but may possibly be interesting."

Here are some other collages by Birze, although not as interesting

Clemens Behr

When I saw the installation Behr did at Galerie Seize I thought I was looking at something 2D. Totally trippy

New Zealand Book Club

So cool! I love this video! Its evident how much time and care were put into the making of this video. I love the idea of illustrating the book using the actual book itself.

Cardon Copy

Cardon Copy takes the fliers we all see posted around our neighborhood, redesigns them and then replaces the original flyer. I love the concept behind this work, it just seems like a lot of fun. I wonder what the original person who posted the fliers think when they see the new look...

here are some before and afters
