Nicolai Howalt

Howalt has these cool car crash studies that center on either abstraction, airbags or interiors. I really like the abstractions because just seeing the images, I had no clue what I was seeing. You just see really beautiful lines and shadows, sometimes different colors. The images are just fascinating to look at and try to decipher.

    i looked at the images before i read what they were, and i thought they were studies of cut outs and color. very cool

    very cool images. my favorite is the third image. with that image i would never be able to tell it was a car. Thanks for posting!

    Yeah, the first thing I thought when I saw the third image was meat. It just kinda looks like a steak to me...
